The design of the SJE077J1 is inspired by the first Seiko wristwatch- the Laurel from 1913. It has a domed blue dial with the second hand curving to match the dial curvature. The watch houses the slim 6L35 movement and is finished with a crescent moon at the opposite end of the second hand. Due to the method of creating the enamel dial,-being fired at a very high temperature there are natural imperfections such as dimples, tiny dots or slight rough surfaces on the dial- a mark of a genuine enamel dial.
